Last thrusday, on 23h00 GMT+1 our Techs begun a necessary upgrades of Ensim Control Panel.
On several servers. (eg, SRV02 were is hosted webDOMAIN.com website and on DNS servers.).
To upgrade to the latest version of ENSIM, it was also required to upgrade RedHat Linux to its latest version: REHL4.
We were under the impression that the upgrades went smothly on all the servers and begun to upgrade other machines. It was an unpredictable error from us and a terrible mistake. All the servers crashed ones after the others. And we were unable to get them back online. This is not the first time that we were disapointed by Ensim upgrades but it was certainly the last.
We dissrupted our Lincecee Contract with Ensim and converted all the servers to CPanel. You might have been also disapointed by our silence concerning this issue. This is mainly because we were unable to communicate with our fellow customers, as long as all the backup and database were on these servers. (yes, backup servers also crashed.). Until now, we restored as much as we could 80% of the servers and websites. You'll have anyway to reconfigure connections to database, or path to your scripts. You'll also have to reconfigure your email addresses as long as the mail system between Ensim and CPanel is not compatible. Your login informations may also have been changed. Please log into your customer area (http://members.webdomain.com) to check your new login and password. Also, the link to your Website Admin Control Panel changed. You'll have now to connect through http://www.yourdomain.com:2082 or https://www.yourdomain.com:2083 (where yourdomain.com would have to be change to reflect yours.) We are aware that many troubles have been caused by this issue and we are very sorry for this. If you are experiencing problems with your site, please contact us or open a Priority Trouble Ticket into the customer area.
